Who is in it? All youth ages 9th
through 12th grade who enjoy ringing handbells and/or would just like to
experience how much fun ringing in a handbell choir can be.
When is it? Rehearsals are
each Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. September through May. The
Bells of Joy ring during worship once a month.
What do I need to know about music?
It is helpful but not mandantory to have some note reading experience
and to be able to tap your foot to the music. "Learn to Ring" bell
classes are held each year in August and they are a prerequisite for all
those who have not had previous experience in a handbell choir.
How much of a commitment is it?
Substitute ringers are available when you have to miss, but it is more
fun when you can be there regularly.
